CYCLISTS
Sustrans National Cycle Network Route 1 runs along the seafront and from Deal Pier down to Kingsdown, the route is traffic free. Using Route 1, riders can head north to Sandwich & Canterbury or south to The White Cliffs and Dover.
The flatness helps young families and older riders.

This is fast becoming my favourite place for coffee. I can have a nice walk along the sea front, stop for coffee, have lovely views out to sea and my dog is made welcome. Really good coffee, lovely cakes. I really want to go for breakfast or lunch as their menu sounds very tasty. I do hope this place will stay open for the winter. I know it can get very quiet but it will be a great place to go and watch the world go by.
Went on a bike ride with my son in September 2021. The coffee was nice as was the sandwhich. Swift friendly service and great sea views. Nice to be able to sit outside.
What can be better than sitting in the sunshine, enjoying great food, excellent spot-on service, even a glass of wine whilst looking out to sea, and overlooking Deal's rather workman like pier.
We really enjoyed our midday meal, and it set us up for a great day in Deal - we thoroughly recommend Route One
